John Webster

A portfolio chairman of three businesses and founder of The Chief Executives Office, (CEO), UK, and the National Coaching Register. (NCR). Non Executive Chairman of The School of Coaching, UKs oldest dedicated coach training organisation, which was founded Myles Downey and The Industrial Society, (later The Work Foundation). A former financial services CEO with 12 years experience of coaching up to FTSE 100 Chairman level, John completed more than 10 years research and study to Masters Level in Psychology, Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy; from this he developed the NCR Masters Award level executive coach training programme which has been operating for 5 years with over 100 senior executives having completed it. He is Chester University lead tutor on the programme and first line examiner.More than 1000 directors have been through John’s training and coaching programmes. At any time he is 1:1 coach to circa 50 Chairmen/CEOs and MDs of well-known companies. He is a specialist in the private equity marketplace running UK leading BIMBO Workshops and Seminars. John’s clients are typically involved in c 20 venture capital ‘deals’ pa. John is a former Daily Telegraph ‘Financial Innovator of the Year’ and was co author of the IOD publication ‘Keys to MBI Success’.
 

Myles Downey

Founder MD of The School of Coaching (SOC) the UK’s oldest dedicated coach training organisation. Author of the book 'Effective Coaching' A pioneer of executive coaching training with more than 15 years experience. Formed originally as a joint venture with The Industrial Society (later known as the Work Foundation) SOC’s client base includes many leading UK FTSE 100 companies and international blue chip businesses. Myles coaches 1:1 board level clients in UK, USA, the Far East and Europe.
 

Ron Hyams

CEO of Praesta South Africa part of Praesta’s international executive coaching group. Ron has qualifications in psychology, completed the NCR programme in UK in 2007 and is coach at any time to circa 5 senior executives in South Africa.
 

Dr Paddy Paisley

Paddy is an internationally accredited executive coach and supervisor of coaches. She is one of the first five coaches in the world to have received their professional doctorates in executive coaching ( through Middlesex University – U.K., & the International Centre for the Study of Coaching). She is a registered psychologist and has worked in business, government, health and education sectors for 30 years. She has coached senior leaders and executive teams at CEO and executive level both in S. African and major international companies. Paddy has been invited to coach on a number of prestigious programmes, including the Emergent Leaders Programme (a joint venture between Southern Africa-United States Centre for Leadership and Public Values at U C T and Duke University). She is considered to be a leader in the field of coaching in South Africa. She is a founder member of COMENSA (SA’s professional body for coaches), and heads up the supervision portfolio committee, having presented on this subject both nationally and internationally. She is a member of the World Association of Business Coaches and is on their expert panel. Paddy is the co-director/founder and faculty head of The Coaching Centre (which develops practitioner coaches and implements coaching into organisations), and The Learning Centre which is a centre for innovative organisational learning.Paddy is a certified trainer integral leadership through the Integral Institute (USA) Her coaching clients include Johnson & Johnson, Santam, Metropolitan, Standard Bank, Vodacom, Sans Fibres, KWV, Woolworths, Shell, Pick & Pay, , local government, and the Bishop Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation.
 

John Paisley

John and his wife Paddy are Directors of The Coaching Centre as well as of unLTD Performance Consulting and The Learning Centre which operate in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban – providing accredited coaching and mentoring training. It has more than 100 associate coaches through out South Africa, as well as accredited facilitators and project managers. TCC also provides ongoing professional development, (supervision, master classes, workshops, conferences). Clients include Metropolitan, SANS Fibres, KWV, CSC, Discovery, African Life, Softstart.Paddy and John were founding members of COMENSA: Paddy serves as chair of the Supervision Portfolio and John was chairman of the COMENSA Steering Committee and is currently National Co-ordinator of the Coach Trainers Association of SA. John is also a member of working group on the knowledge base of coaching for the Global Coaching Convention.
 

Dr. Neslyn Watson Druee

Managing Director of Beacon Organisational Limited and Chairman of Kingston Primary Care Trust UK, has served on a range of Boards namely, Getting London Working, London Health Partnership, and former NHS Trusts: Lambeth Healthcare, Merton Sutton and Wandsworth Community Trust. In partnership with London Enterprise Agency, she has developed staff in London’s Top 22 Companies. Neslyn pioneered a career development and mentoring programme for staff at the BBC. She developed and implemented a performance management programme for Citizens Bank – Jamaica. She has presented at numerous national conferences in the UK and has twice presented to the European Union on career development and integration of Migrant Workers. Neslyn has a string of Awards inclusive of Diversity Persuader of the Decade 2004, Honorary Doctor of the University- University of Central England and Bradford University, British Diversity Gold Standard Award for Improving Employee Potential, Special Honours Pioneer – Windrush Achievement Award, National Training Award, Business Excellence Award and Special Recognition Award for outstanding contribution to nursing – Millennium Nurse Award.    Guinea Pigs wanted for free coaching

CEO & SACAP invite company directors to register as potential Guinea Pigs (GPs ) if they are interested in assisting the delegates on this programme to complete the third module which includes three coaching sessions each typically of three hours with three company directors. Terms of the three free sessions are as follows:

  1. The GPs receive three coaching sessions each of three hours over a period to be agreed between the parties.

  2. GPs must travel to the trainee coach’s location or pay the coach’s travel/subsistence costs.

  3. GPs must give a written assessment to the coach after each session. 

  4. After the third session, GPS must give a written summary of their views of the coach’s skills and the coaching results. 

  5. Ideally at the GPs sole discretion they will be invited to give a written testimonial that the coach may use as part of their marketing credentials. Such testimonials may be anonymous if desired.
